C++'s bad things for performance critical applications
One of the most often disputed things about C++ are its exceptions, virtuals, and runtime type information (RTTI). Some of the arguments centered around these are often subjected to bias, and I should disclaimer that this article may be subjected to my bias as well. But I'd like to take the time and reflect a few of the common statements about these thing.
